Jennifer Sydney hails from a small farm town south of Chicago. Intent on pursuing an acting career, she attended Illinois State University. Upon graduating, she received the 2002-2003 Steppenwolf Theatre Company Acting Internship; where she was fortunate enough to be in Tina Landau’s production of Time of Your Life, as well as many other exciting projects, including the Steppenwolf Summer School Program. In 2006, she moved to Los Angeles to expand her film career; as she guest starred on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and played the lead in the film, The Kill Box.  She moved to Austin, TX in September of 2012 to start embracing her inner cowgirl. After moving to Austin, she booked a series regular on ABC's American Crime in the role of Jessie as well as a national Lowe's Commercial. She continues to pursue her acting career in the state of Texas and all around the southern market.

 

For the last 8 years, Jennifer dove into the Event World where she was fortunate enough to expand her social skills and throw some incredible rustic Texas parties. She has a background in music as well as dance... Her other favorite interests include Photography, Gardening, Music, Food, Vlogging, Blogging, Clogging.... and raising her two beautiful babies.
